Day 13: A picture of your favorite band or artist



okay, this should be an easy one! U2 is my favorite band. last weekend they were here to kick off the US leg of their 360 tour (that got postponed from last year due to bono's back surgery), and i was really bummed that i couldn't go to the concert. i heard from friends that it was the most amazing show ever. :( but honestly, even if we could go, i don't know if i really need to go to another concert. ah, who am i kidding, i would've LOVED to see them live again!!! they are an amazing band to see live, cuz they put on a great performance, as well as a great show. even at their old age, haha!

so i think of U2's music as "Joshua Tree and Before" and "After Joshua Tree" because i think their music changed after their Joshua Tree album. like any good long-lasting artist, they evolved with the times, and i think that's why they're fan base continues to grow, and they continue to succeed after all these decades (kind of like madonna). anyway, so i have lots of favorite songs, depending on my mood. but here is my favorite "Joshua Tree and Before" song, Bad, and my favorite "After Joshua Tree" song, Kite. they're both from the elevation tour, which was the last time i saw them live.
