wow...can you believe it's been since AUGUST since i last updated this thing??? honestly, i don't know what to do with this blog, and have thought of just shutting it down. but then again, i've had this thing since 2002 or something, that's almost 10 years. 10 years of babbling about little things going on in my life.

then i was thinking not so long ago, that i really love the stories my dad tells me about his childhood. and i wish he would've written them down, kinda like a memoir. his stories of ditching school and sneaking into the theater to watch american movies, stories about life after the korean war, his experiences in the military, etc. and same with W's grandfather. he led an amazing life, including joining a circus (as a cook), being a POW, living/working in sun valley, idaho, one of the country's first ski resorts, where lots of rich and famous came to visit.

anyway...so i was thinking maybe this would be a place for me to write down childhood memories. maybe they won't be interesting to anyone else, and maybe i'll be the only one that finds any humor in them, but when i'm too old to remember any of this, maybe i'll be really happy that i actually wrote them down. or maybe not.
