today was a very sad day in the P household. we said good-bye to our legacy, and watched as she left with another man (and wife and newborn).
:( back in november W brought up the idea of selling the sube, cuz when you think about it, we really don't need the car, and it was just another unnecessary expense. but he had felt bad about taking another car from me (remember, he took my integra to turn into his track/race car shortly after we moved to CO). so he left it up to me. i thought about it, and agreed that we should just sell it. unfortunately, winter was fast approaching, and washing and detailing a car in below freezing temperatures isn't very effective. so about a month ago we got it all cleaned up and ready to sell. it took awhile, but finally we got someone to buy it. he had owned the exact car except it was a 2006, and he had totalled it a couple weeks ago. so hopefully it's going to a nice, new owner, and he doesn't total another LGT. i'm sad to see her go, but happy to be saving about $700 a month (car payment, plus storage for another car that doesn't fit in the garage, plus insurance). :) and with my new commute to work, i've used less than 1/8 a tank of gas in a week. so if i can get it so we're only filling up once a month, we'll be saving even more money on gas! woohoo!!!
