i pulled into my work parking lot this morning and saw the maroon 5 tour buses! i work right next to the loews hotel, denver (we share common grounds and parking), and apparently a lot of musicians and bands stay there when they're in town for a concert. altho i haven't seen any celebrities (i don't leave the building much) i know that brooks and dunn, kenny chesney, beyonce and lots of other big names have stayed there. we see their tour buses all the time. now, i don't work in a nice part of denver. altho we're just a couple miles from cherry creek, a very exclusive area of denver, and just a few blocks from washington park, also a very up-and-coming area, the part i work in, known as glendale, well, it's pretty run down and borderline ghetto. so it's surprising to see a loews hotel there. my theory is that the big tour buses don't have anywhere to go in downtown denver, and we're close enough, but we have the parking space. if things don't work out for me here, maybe i'll apply for a job at loews!
