now i can say i've been to iowa. this past weekend was our joint track event with NASA rocky mountain (that would be our region) and NASA midwest. it's always interesting to see how other regions operate, and meet new ppl. W had some issues with the car earlier in the week, but was able to get things worked out in time to run one session saturday, and all day sunday. and he got the best time in his class on sunday! i'm so proud! :)

a lot of our drivers have really nice RVs. i mean really nice. and now i want one. i mean really want one. the only problem is, we have nowhere to keep it. we'll have to go somewhere with lots of land and zero covenants controlling what we can and can't have on our property. hmph.

it's supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon. last year's 4th of july fireworks got delayed because of rain, and it's just not the same on the 6th of july, you know? it's been totally dry for over a week now, and it decides to rain on the 4th?! sheesh.

one last thing...in case you haven't heard, 7-eleven stores are helping to promote the new simpsons movie by turning some 7-elevens into kwik-e-marts, filled with Buzz cola and KrustyO cereal! how cool is that? there's one in denver, but nowhere near us. i'd still like to try to go if they have any items left to buy!
