friday my coworker K and i went rollerblading after work. afterwards we went to 7-eleven and got squishees!!! :) it wasn't a kwik-e-mart but they had lots of simpsons stuff, so i was happy to get my squishee in a special simpsons cup. :)

saturday morning K and i went hiking at red rocks. it's sooooo cool up there, and so close to our house. it made me want to move to morrison. we went on the short but fun 1.5 mile hike around the red rocks, then climbed the stairs to the top of the amphitheatre. it's kinda weird cuz there were a lot of ppl there just working out, running up and down the stairs, doing lunges across the rows, etc...kinda odd, and made me feel like i should be joining them. but i didn't.

the first pic is just of the red rocks that are all over the place. the second is the amphitheater (where we'll be seeing b.b. king, al green and etta james perform in september...can't wait!!!), and the last pic is of the view of downtown denver from the top of the amphitheater (it was in the upper 90's, very little breeze, and a bit smoggy).
