okay, why is there a WINTER STORM coming thru colorado when it's SPRING?! my coworker reminded me that this is spring in the rockies, so you can pretty much expect just about anything. *sigh* i just really hope my flight on saturday early early AM doesn't get affected...cuz that will SUCK. and our track weekend was cancelled, which i'm actually happy about cuz i didn't like the idea of W having to drive thru a blizzard pulling a trailer. scary! so now i also don't have to feel bad about missing a track weekend! but now they're talking of rescheduling for memorial day weekend, which really sucks cuz that saturday the rapids are playing the LA galaxy and i really wanted to go to that game (since we have a track event on the other weekend in august they'll be playing). grrr... i will make it to a rapids game this summer, i will!!

and i can finally stop stressing about my new passport cuz it finally arrived today! i was getting a bit nervous there... so for any of you married girls who changed your last names, i would highly suggest getting your passport fixed ASAP so you don't have to stress out 3 weeks before you leave for a major trip!! they originally said it would take 6-8 weeks, and having sent in my app at the end of january, i assumed i'd be fine. well, when i checked my status a couple weeks ago, it said it would take up to 10 weeks! yikes! and you need a certified copy of your marriage license, which you need to get from the county recorder's office. you should be able to do this online, but it's not free. :( i think i spent almost $100 to get my new passport...sh*t.
