my last monday off...well, not including christmas and new year's. so i guess i technically have 2 more mondays off. man, the first week i have to work all 5 days is really gonna suck.

since we got all our christmas shopping done this weekend, W wanted to go snowboarding today. i wasn't so sure. i don't feel mentally prepared. plus, i can't fit into my pants anymore cuz i'm so fat! LOL...oh well. but after hearing the mountains got some new snow overnight, we decided to go to copper mountain. it was actually a really nice day, a sunny 25 degrees (it actually felt much warmer, except on the lift...brrr!). they got about 4" new snow overnight, which actually made it pretty nice. but it was an okay day as far as riding goes. i landed pretty hard on my tailbone last season and i haven't really healed since. unfortunately i landed on my tailbone again, not too hard, but hard enough to make me not want to go back up the mountain! :( we only stayed for half the day and headed over to idaho springs for lunch. every place we've been there has been really good, and this last place did not fail us.

we have 4 days til my parents arrive. it hasn't snowed at all, unlike what the weather ppl were saying (snow all weekend and thru most of the week). but man, it's been cold! when we got back around 2pm, it was 36 degrees! but nice and sunny. :) typical colorado weather. and as much as i would love a white christmas, i'm hoping it doesn't snow while they're here...it's just too much of a pain to get around in.

i can't believe he won...i haven't watched it yet, but L called last night and spoiled it (haha, j/k L, it's okay, i probably would've found out from my coworkers anyway!). how exciting for yul and his family! i'm sure my parents will tell me all about the family's trip to hollywood for the finale! that's pretty nuts...
