my friends and i were so excited about SF's dine about town, so we picked a restaurant, made our reservation, and made our way out to downtown SF to dine at asia de cuba at the clift hotel. well, they failed to mention that they don't offer the dine about town menu on sundays. :( but all was not lost, they had a very comparable lunch "bento box" menu, with 4 courses for $25, and it was pretty good. the coolest thing at the clift was this giant chair in the lobby! it was huge! picture an armchair, that's just 2x bigger. i wanted to sit in it, but there was no way for me to actually get in the chair. i want one.
