last night i took down all our holiday decorations, and now our house looks so empty!

i've made the switch to soymilk. it wasn't hard, since the only time i drink milk is in my cereal. but it definitely tastes different. i've even started getting coffee drinks with soy, which isn't the greatest idea since you add 40 cents more to a drink that is ridiculously overpriced to begin with.

so even tho we think larry ellison is the devil incarnate, he is actually doing good for once. oracle/peoplesoft is matching dollar for dollar every donation given to the victims of the tsunami by an oracle/peoplesoft employee. too bad we don't have a million dollars like sandra bullock. but still, i think that's pretty impressive, and i'm sending in our check today.

i think i want to learn to paint. watercolor. i attempted it in a high school art class and wasn't very good at it, but maybe i just wasn't trying hard enough.
