friday morning, i had some errands to run. on my way home, the freeway entrance was blocked, which was odd, but while i crossed the freeway, i looked out, and saw a single file line of cop cars, with their lights on, that just seemed endless. what a sight...i really wished i had my camera. then i remembered what i heard on the news that morning. an sfpd officer was gunned down last week, and friday morning was his memorial and burial. it made me sad...but that line of squad cars was so cool. there were cops from all over the bay, california, washington and oregon, even as far away as new york. too bad i don't have a picture to share.

so i don't go back to work til thursday. and i've had no work since last wednesday. sheesh. it's great and all, but it sucks having all this time off BY MYSELF. i need someone to hang out with. actually, my mission today is to thoroughly clean out our place. we have way too much junk here. that's my goal. well, not by the end of today, that's kinda aiming too high. maybe by wednesday. :)
