DISMISSED!! woohoo!! i'll be expecting my check for $45 plus mileage shortly. thank you.

i actually would have liked to be on the case, if it weren't for the fact that you get paid so little, and my work is getting extremely busy. i got dismissed yesterday, just before lunchtime, and i ran a few errands, had lunch with w, and then called in work to see how things were. damn it, they needed me to come in. so i worked from 4 til 11pm!! :( and now it's back to work this morning. *sigh* i know, wah wah wah. :P

but the case was for the murder of a transgender person, living in newark, which is right next door to where my parents live (and where i grew up). i actually went to school with one of the defendant's sister, very weird. but the guy didn't look familiar. anyways, there were 3 men accused of murdering him/her. i remember when it first happened back in '02, and then there i was, so close to getting on that jury. yikes. i'm glad i don't have to go back to court, and i can go back to living my life!!

okay, gotta go to work now.
