our new director is originally from north carolina, and i've noticed that when i talk to him, i start talking with a southern drawl! hahahaha weird thing is, i've never done that with any other person with an accent. hmm... but i really like our new director. the entire team's mood seems to have lifted since he joined us. :)

today i took hwy 1 home from work, cuz 92 is a mess on the weekends (we're talking a 15 minute stretch turning into 1-1.5 hours, and i'm NOT exaggerating). i forgot how nice that commute is, with the ocean next to you almost the entire time. too bad for devil's slide, or else i'd take hwy 1 instead of 92 everyday.
