i really should know better than to expect so much. but still, i was really hoping that runaway jury would be a great flick. *sigh* i just need to stop watching movies based on books. they shouldn't even say "based." it's more like "very loosely similar in character names and a couple scenes." i think if i hadn't read the book, the movie would've been better. but there were too many important things they glossed over. not to mention the biggest difference being the subject matter of what the case was about. sheesh. w and i thought we were in the wrong theater at first, cuz the opening scene was so off. hah. although the movie was okay, i'd skip the movie. read the book instead. cuz the book is really good.
