i love "i love the 80's strikes back" on vh1!! i love the 80's. really, i do. i watched TJ Hooker. i had stir-up pants, and wore them with pride. i also went thru my share of jelly shoes. hey, they didn't last very long, they were made of flimsy plastic! i thought glow worms were disgusting; who wants a stuffed WORM? i listened to the thompson twins. to this day, sixteen candles remains one of my all-time favorite movies. i absolutely love that scene, when she's standing at the church, and the cars drive away, and the thompson twins' "if you were here" starts to play, she looks up and there's jake, waiting for her. *sigh* every little girl's dream. okay, maybe just mine. :P
