ohmigawd...I'M SOOOO SUNBURNT!!!
that's what i get for going to folsom lake, near sac, on one of the hottest days ever! i don't know how i get talked into these things. *sigh* the funniest part is that l and i are burnt in the same places, backs of legs and back. we spent way too much time on our stomachs apparently. l's mom suggested we spray vinegar, cuz she's heard that it helps with the burn. i refused but l had no choice (she's in much more pain than i am), and man she stunk! ahahaha...i shouldn't be mean, she really was in a lot of pain, poor girl.
i kinda feel weird whenever i visit l in sac. her mom actually lives just about 20 minutes away from sac, and i swear i'm always the only asian person there. i've yet to see another asian. i did see 2 african-americans. and a carload of latinos. that's about all the diversity you'll find in their 'hood. when we went to dinner, i was definitely the only non-caucasian in the entire restaurant. it was very odd.
