it's funny how you can drive the same road a million times and not see something so obvious, until someone else points it out! am i that unobservant? sheeesh. next time you're driving on 92 eastbound there's this one spot, where if you look up on a clear day, you can see downtown SF! amazing!

yesterday i got a funny inquiry call from a girl that wanted to have their high school prom at the hotel. we haven't done a single prom. ever. i told her the minimum food and beverage requirement would be $80,000, plus service charge and tax, which came out roughly to $231 per person, just for food, and the girl didn't flinch. she wanted to set up a time to see the property. ohmigawd, i don't know what kind of school this is, but it's gonna cost almost $600 per couple, after you count in the DJ, decorations, photographer... i told everyone about her call, and we all started talking about our proms. :) so fun to talk about those days. i had a great prom...
