my coworker and i were talking about better luck tomorrow...and she told me that the movie was based on a true story that happened at her high school! it happened in southern cali, i think in LA (tho the movie was set in orange county) and as she was watching it, she realized it was about the kid who got killed at her school. (sorry, i hope i didn't ruin anything for anyone). but she said the boys are now spending the rest of their lives in jail with no parole. i imagined they all lived happily ever after...

i was telling roommate and w about that, and roommate started talking about the twins in irvine, one bad twin and one good twin. the bad twin got jealous of the good twin and she tried to kill good twin. didn't work, and good twin called the cops. then w told us that they lived in the apartment complex he lived in at that time! woa. i don't think i've been that closely connected to anything like that.
