have you seen bowling for columbine? man, talk about disturbing. it just paints a really horrible picture of american society, and our paranoia as a general population. they show clips from the shooting at columbine high school, and it was so disturbing i couldn't help but cry. i don't want to give away too much in case you haven't seen it (in which case you really should, it's still playing in theaters). but i have to say i love the last interview with charleton heston. what a superb fella. :P
w and i had one of those really great talks the other night. i can't remember how it started, we were in the car driving home from having dinner with my parents, and we started talking about our initial impressions of each other and how our mutual friend was so addament about us dating, even tho i had a boyfriend at the time. well, somehow the conversation ended up somewhere along the lines of how one little thing in your life can change everything. i won't go into the boring details, but it just made me think that even tho i may have many regrets (well, not many, but a few), i can't say that i would want to change them if i could, cuz i wouldn't be where i'm at today, or surrounded by the people that i absolutely cannot imagine living without. funny how things work. that one decision leads the way to so much more...
